Fu Takes Final Four Slot
Fu Che Wei of Chinese continued his impressive run from the losers’ bracket by demolishing Arnel Bautista of the Philippines 9-2 to take the third seat in the Final Four of the Subic-Olongapo Open Pool Championship.
The match was a virtual repeat of Fu’s victories over Allan Cuartero and Ricky Yang. From 2-1, he took four racks in a row. After Bautista answered to make the count 6-2, he stormed to the finish by taking three straight racks.
Fu will face Mario Tolentino of the Philippines in the first crossover semifinals later in the afternoon.
